2nd grade Faces

Oh! That's nice !  I found myself announcing over and over as the students in the 2nd grade classes  made their final drawings of their portraits on over head projector film with a permanent marker. We then  painted the reverse side of the film with acrylic paint --- talking all the while about color mixing and the combination of colors that were being discovered.  Our final step was to place the exquisite portraits in their own frames and embellish the frames with  pattern and color.
